What are the responsibilities and job description for the Attorney | General Liability Litigation | 147538 position at Mission Recruiting?
If the phrase “Let’s take it to trial” sends a jolt of excitement through you, keep reading. This isn’t your typical litigation job—and this isn’t your typical defense firm.
One of the most respected, all-female-owned litigation firms in California is expanding its powerhouse team and looking for a skilled Civil Litigation Attorney who lives for the courtroom. Known for taking on complex, high-stakes cases that other firms won’t touch, this firm is led by a nationally recognized trial attorney who personally handles up to 15 jury trials each year—and she’s looking for someone to mentor as a potential successor.
Here’s What You’ll Do:
- Manage a diverse caseload of professional liability and general liability cases from day one
- Handle site visits and rapid-response litigation (think real-time involvement, not desk duty)
- Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and cross-examine witnesses
- Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs that actually get filed—not just edited
- Participate in strategy meetings, trial prep, and courtroom battles
What You Bring to the Table:
- Licensed in California (Nevada Bar is a plus)
- Significant litigation experience, including trial prep and courtroom advocacy
- Confidence, curiosity, and a passion for real trial work—not just settlements
- The desire to be mentored by a nationally acclaimed trial attorney
What You’ll Get:
- Salary: $110,000 to $200,000
- Bonuses: Paid quarterly for 170 billable hours/month
- Benefits: 100% paid health, dental, and vision after 90 days, 401(k) with match, FSA, parking, education support, and more
- Schedule: Hybrid flexibility with a 160-hour monthly minimum
- Time Off: Unlimited PTO as long as you’re meeting expectations
Why This Firm?
Based in San Diego with offices in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, this AV-rated firm isn’t a paper-pushing mill. Associates accompany partners to fatal accident sites. They argue in court. They learn by doing. And they’re backed by a leadership team that supports women, mentors fiercely, and promotes based on performance—not time served.
This is a rare chance to be front-and-center in real litigation and build a path to non-equity (or equity) partnership. If you're ready to move from the sidelines to center stage, this is your calling.
Apply now. Your trial bag is waiting.
