This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 3–10 years of litigation experience who wants to manage meaningful cases from inception through trial while working in a collaborative environment that values preparation, advocacy, and exceptional client representation.

Rather than focusing on billable hours, this firm measures success by the quality of legal work, responsiveness to clients, meeting deadlines, and achieving favorable outcomes. Attorneys are entrusted with independent case management while receiving the support of an experienced litigation team.

Compensation

• Salary: $150,000–$190,000, depending on experience
• Merit-based bonus tied to successful case fees
• Origination compensation
• Settlement bonus opportunities

• Location: Tustin, California
• Work Arrangement: Primarily in-office

Whether you come from a plaintiff practice, insurance defense, or a successful solo practice, you'll have the opportunity to continue developing your trial skills while handling sophisticated litigation with substantial autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Manage plaintiff personal injury matters from filing through settlement or trial
• Draft pleadings, discovery, dispositive motions, and other substantive filings
• Take and defend depositions
• Prepare clients, witnesses, and expert witnesses for testimony
• Represent clients during mediation and arbitration
• Develop litigation strategy and persuasive trial themes
• Negotiate settlements
• Appear regularly in California Superior Courts
• Serve as first or second chair during trial, depending on experience
• Collaborate with litigation support staff to advance cases efficiently

Recommended Qualifications

• Active membership in the California State Bar in good standing
• Approximately 3–10 years of civil litigation experience
• Strong deposition and motion practice experience
• Experience managing cases independently
• Excellent legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Plaintiff personal injury litigation experience
• Insurance defense personal injury experience
• Trial experience or significant second-chair trial experience
• Experience handling mediations and settlement negotiations
• Solo practitioners with substantial litigation experience are encouraged to apply
