We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in clinical support, patient service, and medical procedures. This role involves providing exceptional patient care, supporting medical staff, and ensuring smooth clinic operations within a dynamic healthcare environment.
- Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately.
- Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.
- Maintain accurate documentation within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and other medical records management.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards in all clinical activities.
- Provide excellent patient service by addressing questions compassionately and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
- Prior experience working as a Medical Assistant required. Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective clinical support.
- Experience with EHR systems required. Familiarity with eClinicalworks a plus.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred.
