What are the responsibilities and job description for the Partner Veterinarian position at Mission Pet Health?
Company Description
At Livewell, every hospital is built in partnership between Mission Pet Health and a Founding Veterinarian Partner, giving you the rare opportunity to shape and lead a fully funded practice that reflects your vision and your community’s needs. Our hospitals are not cookie-cutter templates, they are designed around your medical passions, with a concierge-level commitment to individualized, high-quality care. You’ll be fully supported in building your team and practice while maintaining the autonomy to lead medicine your way.
Livewell Animal Hospital of Chevy Chase is a prime example of how carefully we select each site to set you up for long-term success. Located on the ground floor of The Camille, a luxury mixed-use development on Wisconsin Avenue, the hospital benefits from unmatched visibility, a built-in client base of residents, and a highly walkable neighborhood with strong foot traffic.
Role Description
You’ll be fully supported in building your team and practice while maintaining the autonomy to lead medicine your way. You will be empowered to practice in a modern hospital designed with Fear Free® principles at its core, equipped for comprehensive care, including advanced surgery and dentistry, so you’ll never be limited in the medicine you can provide. You’ll also have the support of a trained marketing team dedicated to helping you grow the services you’re most passionate about, ensuring the community knows the depth of care available.
The surrounding community is affluent, educated, and deeply invested in their pets’ well-being, making it the perfect place to establish the medical standards, culture, and growth trajectory of a thriving practice. As our Founding DVM Partner in Chevy Chase, you’ll have the opportunity to build not just a hospital, but a legacy of care in one of the most vibrant corridors of the D.C. metro area.
