Your Impact as an Investor Relations Associate
As the Investor Relations Associate, you will be a key member of the team that manages Mission Pet Health's relationship with the investment community. You will support the preparation of investor materials, analyze financial data, and assist in communicating our company's strategy and performance to investors and analysts. This role reports to the Head of Investor Relations.
Your Impact Will Include:
- Creating Investor Materials: You will assist in the creation of quarterly earnings releases, conference call scripts, and investor presentations.
- Analyzing Financial Models: You'll analyze models and peer performance to support strategic messaging.
- Monitoring Analyst Reports: You will monitor reports and summarize key themes for senior leadership.
- Coordinating Events: You'll manage logistics for investor conferences, roadshows, and meetings.
- Maintaining IR Assets: You will maintain the investor relations database and website.
- Facilitating Communications: You'll manage and resolve investor inquiries and track engagement in our CRM suite.
- Maintaining Accurate Records: You will manage the investor/partner directory and maintain the cap table.
- Generating Reports: You'll create recurring reports on investor activity, including documentation and supporting calculations.
- Preparing Departmental Analysis: You will assist in analyzing operational and financial performance, fair value assessment, and market comparisons.
- Collaborating with Counsel: You will work with internal and external counsel to facilitate legal and regulatory activities.
- Partnering Cross-Functionally: You'll partner with Accounting, Tax, Legal, and Acquisitions teams.
What You'll Bring to the Team
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Communications, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in investor relations, public relations, accounting, finance, or legal/regulatory roles.
- Expert communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to process and distill large amounts of data.
- Understanding of financial data and the ability to read and interpret financial and operational reports.
- Strong foundation with MS PowerPoint or other presentation software.
- Experience with CRM or CSM suites (e.g., MS Dynamics, Salesforce) preferred.
- Willingness to grow your skillset with the Company’s capital and financing strategy.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional environment.
