General
As an Upholstery Assistant, you will:
- Assist with removing old upholstery materials from RV coach chairs and other components
- Support cutting and shaping foam under the direction of a lead technician
- Prepare materials such as batting, foam, poly‑filler, and fabrics for installation
- Help with basic sewing tasks, including threading machines, cutting vinyl, and simple stitch operations
- Assist in assembling cushions and upholstery components
- Perform basic quality checks (e.g., verifying measurements, inspecting seams for obvious defects)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked upholstery workspace
- Support the team in meeting production timelines by completing assigned tasks efficiently

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience:
- 1 year of experience in upholstery, sewing, fabrication, or related hands‑on work (willing to train the right candidate)
- Familiarity with hand tools or willingness to learn industrial tools
- Basic understanding of sewing or fabrication is a plus
- Performance: Able and willing to provide world-class service to all stakeholders
- Ability to follow instructions and support lead technicians in completing upholstery tasks
- Comfortable using or learning tools such as staple guns, scissors, glue applicators, and basic cutting tools
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing 30 lbs throughout the workday
- Comfortable standing, bending, and moving for extended periods in a fast‑paced environment
- Commitment to safety and maintaining a clean, organized workspace

- Manufacturing/Office environment
- 80 PTO hours available after the first 60 days of service

- Weekly payday, every Friday
