Job Summary and QualificationsRole Summary: The Receptionist is responsible for performing equipment orientations, interacting with members, monitoring fitness areas, and maintaining the weights and cardiovascular fitness areas to make sure equipment is clean, functioning properly and used according to the rules of the facility. The Receptionist provides excellent customer service to our members, guests and prospective members. This includes greeting members by name, scanning membership cards, registering members and guests in programs, membership sales, answering phones and providing facility tours. The Receptionist will also participate in the active youth program with children 7 – 13 years of age.
What qualifications you will need:- Required Education: High school diploma or GED, must be 18 years of age or older
- Preferred Education: Associate’s Degree
- Preferred License: Certified Personal Trainer or working towards certification
- Preferred Experience: Knowledge of fitness facility operations and fitness equipment
