Job Summary and Qualifications

The Director ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall function and staffing of the unit(s)/department(s) in addition to forecasting, planning, and budget monitoring. The Director fosters a culture of accountability and collaboration and supports the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in support of facility objectives.

What qualifications you will need:

• Required Education: Bachelor's Degree or other approved education plan
• Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing , Master's Degree
• Required Experience: 1 years applicable experience
• Preferred Experience: 3 years applicable experience

• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.

Mission Hospital McDowell is a community hospital with 25 beds, including five labor and delivery suites, serving McDowell County. Located in Marion, North Carolina, we offer many specialties, including family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, orthopedics, urology, obstetrics and gynecology, and walk-in, non-emergency care at Mission My Care Now McDowell. Five of Mission Hospital McDowell’s primary care practices have been recognized by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services as Rural Health Clinics.
