Qualified Candidates:
- Board certified in General Surgery
- Board certified in Surgical Critical Care
- ATLS certification
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
- Must have experience as Medical Director or Associate Medical Director in a Level I or II Trauma Center
- Willingness to perform in hybrid role with minimum 40% administrative duties/responsibilities
- Please note that this position does not offer visa support
- Team covers equal mix of trauma, surgical critical care and emergency general surgery
- No 24-hour shift requirement; day shifts are 10.5 hours; nights are 13.5
- Large, stable and established group; worked together for many years; Minimal turnover
- Close team collaboration, support and coverage including time-off requests
- Surgical residency offers opportunity to teach
- Resident support on trauma, surgical critical care, and emergency general surgery services
- APP support on trauma and emergency general surgery service
- Research support offered locally and through HCA's National Center Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Research
- This is an employed position with HCA Healthcare
