Job Summary:

Asheville Cardiology Associates (ACA) is seeking experienced advanced practice providers to join our expanding inpatient cardiology team in Asheville, North Carolina.

Qualified Candidates:

• Completion of an accredited physician assistant or nurse practitioner program with appropriate certification exams
• Has, and maintains, current license with the North Carolina Medical Board
• BLS, ACLS certification required
• Cardiology APP experience required
• Must be able to see and treat Cardiac ICU/Critical Care patients
  
  

Position Highlights

• Inpatient only position
• Performs admissions, discharges, consults and general rounding on all cardiology patients
• Includes rounding on patients in ICU
• Shares in STEMI call w/ Interventional Cardiologists
• .9 FTE; 72 hrs. per bi-weekly pay period
• Shifts - 12 hrs.; 7A-7P
• Primarily day shifts; some nights and weekend coverage required
• No call requirements outside of scheduled hours

• Asheville Cardiology Associates is the largest cardiovascular diseases practice in western North Carolina with more than 35 cardiologists and 25 advanced practice providers who provide a full range of cardiac care including subspecialties of interventional (including structural heart disease), electrophysiology (including complex ablation), imaging (including dedicated cardiac MRI), general cardiology and advanced heart failure
