Job Summary:

Mission Health is excited to welcome experienced trauma physician assistants to join our team in Asheville, North Carolina.

Qualified Candidates:

• Completion of an accredited physician assistant program with appropriate certification exams
• Requires experience as a practicing PA in a hospitalist, trauma or surgery setting
• Experience with autonomy re: admitting, resuscitating, and rounding on patients
  
  

Highlights:

• Work with a large, stable and established group of surgeons
• Surgical Resident interaction and support on trauma; surgical critical care
• 100% inpatient
• Minimum 6 shifts required per two-week pay period
• Day, night and float shifts required
• Shift incentives available for exceeding minimum shift requirement
• Limited OR time, with ample opportunity to perform procedures in trauma bay and on floor
