Role Description The role at Mission Guild is a full-time position responsible for facilitating Agile practices across cross-functional teams. Day-to-day, the resource leads sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring that teams follow Scrum principles and continuously improve their processes. This role supports the creation, refinement, and prioritization of user stories, removes impediments, and promotes transparency of work through appropriate tools and ceremonies. This candidate collaborates closely with product owners, software developers, and other stakeholders to align delivery with business goals and maintain a sustainable pace of work.
Qualifications
- Ability to develop and manage requirements, and lead decomposition meetings to create User Stories
- Ability to manage Sprint Planning, facilitate Grooming sessions, develop schedules and execute sprint execution.
- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret metrics, identify bottlenecks, and drive data-informed process improvements.
- Effective Communication skills to facilitate discussions, resolve conflicts, and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with User Stories, including writing, refining, and prioritizing them in partnership with product owners.
- Understanding of Software Development concepts and life cycle, with experience supporting or working alongside engineering teams in an Agile environment.
- Familiarity with developing and managing PM tools such as Gitlab, SharePoint, etc...
- Ability to work effectively in a high pressure, fast paced environment, demonstrating detail oriented, self-management, reliability, and proactive communication.
