Job Responsibilities
Ensures new employees are trained correctly in accordance with company policies, safety, proper loading of trailers, the organization of warehouse, code dates, and AIB training
Ensures accuracy of the daily operations in the shipping office which include shipping correctly. Making appointments and receiving product
Coordinates with purchasing to pick up product from local vendors or interplant transfers
Order and issue P.O.’s for needed items
Keeping equipment in good repair
Monitoring the cooler charts and report any irregularities to maintenance
Responsible for the proper rotation of product
Inventory stretch film and submit this information to Purchasing twice weekly
Communicate product shortages with Production Scheduler
Work with Total Quality to make determinations on returned product
Monitor the production area to be sure product is being moved in a timely manner
Follow all safety guidelines and safety policies including LOTO policy.
Follow all GMP’s
Attend Safety and Quality training as required
Responsible for overseeing regulatory compliance including HACCP program and AIB gold standards.
Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably within a food manufacturing environment with 2 years in a supervisory/lead capacity in a manufacturing environment. *Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience may be considered for the above.

- Effectively communicate in Spanish and English both verbal and written (desirable).
- Preference in a Food Service Warehouse Environment
- Must have Dispatch Truck Deadline Experience in a Food Service Department.
