Job Title: Dentist
Location: Mission First Medical and Dental Clinic – Jackson, MS
Reports To: Associate Director of Mission First

Position Summary
We are seeking a mission-driven and compassionate Dentist to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care while embracing the clinic’s Christian mission and values. This position offers the unique opportunity to serve vulnerable populations in a supportive, spiritually enriching environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dental services, including examinations, restorative procedures, extractions, and preventive care
- Diagnose oral conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Oversee and collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and support staff
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in accordance with legal and ethical standards
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, infection control, and HIPAA regulations
- Offer patient education on oral health, hygiene, and post-treatment care
- Supervise our partnership with UMMC School of Dentistry
- Treat patients with compassion, patience, and cultural sensitivity
- Participate in team devotions, prayer, and other Christ-centered activities as appropriate
- Support and uphold the clinic’s mission, vision, and values in all aspects of care
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
- Valid and unrestricted state dental license
- Current DEA registration and CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred (new grads considered)
- Excellent diagnostic, clinical, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing care to underserved and diverse populations
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented, faith-based nonprofit setting
- Agreement with the clinic’s Christian mission and values
