- Lead with Expertise: Set the technical vision for our data systems using Microsoft’s stack—SQL Server, SSIS/ADF, SSRS, Power BI—and Azure cloud services.
- Modernize & Innovate: Spearhead the migration and transformation of legacy systems to Azure, leveraging tools like Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, and Apache Spark.
- Mentor & Guide: Support and coach developers, data engineers, and BI professionals to elevate team performance.
- Architect & Build: Design robust data models, develop efficient ETL pipelines, and create intuitive dashboards and reports.
- Ensure Excellence: Oversee code reviews, source control, and deployment processes to maintain high standards and system integrity.
- Support & Troubleshoot: Provide hands-on support for production systems, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
- Stay Ahead: Keep up with the latest trends in data engineering, BI, cloud computing, and decision intelligence
Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
- 8–10 years in OLAP/OLTP database engineering and design
- 8 years with SSIS or Azure Data Factory for ETL
- 8 years with SSRS and Power BI for enterprise reporting
- Deep expertise in SQL Server (2016 ) and Azure data services
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Bonus: Experience with Python, PowerShell, C#, .NET, and web/data science development.

Base Pay/Salary: *$120,000 - $140,000 per year
- Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components, including but not limited to, relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
