Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fence and Deck Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing high-quality fences and decks that enhance the safety, privacy, and aesthetic appeal of residential properties. Duties
- Measure and mark installation areas accurately to ensure precise placement of fences and decks
- Install decks, fence, porches, enclosures, custom outdoor furniture, ezebreeze window solutions, etc.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to execute installations correctly
- Perform heavy lifting of materials such as lumber, concrete blocks, and metal components safely and efficiently
- Prepare surfaces by leveling ground, setting concrete footings, or forming concrete for foundational support
- Install posts, panels, rails, decking boards, and hardware with attention to detail for durability and aesthetic quality
- Conduct quality inspections throughout each project to ensure compliance with safety standards and design specifications
- Operate at elevations above ground level
- Must have own transportation to / from job sites.
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or carpentry with a focus on fence or deck installation is highly preferred
- Must have experience with composite decking materials and high-end finishing techniques
- Knowledge of frame carpentry techniques for framing structures securely
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, masonry work, and concrete finishing techniques
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper posture and technique
- Experience working on construction sites or in landscape maintenance environments is advantageous
- Understanding of hardscape installation including masonry work related to outdoor structures
