Job purpose

The Assistant Project Manager oversees and implements projects to ensure the Mission De Los Arroyos condominium property is in good repair and that large and small vendor projects are executed on time, adhering to high quality standards, meeting homeowner’s expectations.

Duties and responsibilities

· Monitoring the ticketing system, a web-based software (ZenDesk)

· Responsible for the management of several small, medium and large-sized projects, requiring regular re-prioritization

· Projects range from simple, e.g. hiring a vendor to replace a light bulb, to complex, e.g. redoing the entire landscape of the grounds

· Web research, emails & phone calls to obtain quotes for various projects from multiple vendors

· Tracking these projects both in Zendesk and Excel, holding dates accountable and inspecting work when completed

· Evaluating vendors, costs, and outcomes, reporting to the property manager & board members

· Phone calls to vendors (e.g. landscape or roofing company) to regularly check in on and expedite existing projects to meet deadlines

Required Skills and Experience

· Familiarity with MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook

· Project management experience is a plus but not required, training will be provided

· Property management experience is a plus but not required, training will be provided

· Walking the property occasionally and as needed during shifts

Additional Details

Work location is on-site in the clubhouse office at the property, located at Shea & 92nd Street in Scottsdale, AZ. Hours are flexible. Paid time off (40 hours/year) accrue monthly at 90 days.
