Role Description The Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Mesa, AZ. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining EHS programs and procedures tailored to mission-critical electrical projects and data center environments. Day-to-day tasks include conducting safety inspections and audits, identifying and mitigating workplace hazards, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies, and maintaining accurate safety documentation and reporting. The EHS Coordinator will deliver safety training and toolbox talks, collaborate with project managers and field personnel to promote a strong safety culture, and assist in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning. The role also involves continuous improvement of EHS practices and communication of safety expectations across all levels of the organization.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) and Health & Safety knowledge, with experience implementing comprehensive safety programs.
- Candidates should possess skills in Workplace Safety and Occupational Health, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage field teams and leadership in safety initiatives. Preferably bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Experience in construction, electrical contracting, or data center environments is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of OSHA and other relevant federal, state, and local safety regulations is preferred.
- Professional safety certifications OSHA 30, NFPA70E, CPR.
- (CHST, CSP, or similar) are a plus.
