Description of the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our dynamic medical team. As an OR RN, you will play a critical role in assisting surgeons and other healthcare professionals during surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and sterile environment for patients.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the surgical team, including surgeons and anesthesiologists, to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Prepares surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies necessary for surgical procedures
• Maintain a sterile operating room environment and adhere to strict infection control protocols
• Assist in positioning and draping patients for surgery
• Administer medications and monitor patients' vital signs before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Assist with surgical site preparation and closing
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Operating Room RN
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Excellent knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
