Mission Community Hospital is seeking a dedicated Part-Time night shift Monitor Tech to join our team in Panorama City, CA. The Monitor Tech plays a vital role in patient care by continuously observing and interpreting cardiac monitor data to ensure timely and accurate communication of patient status to healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor cardiac and respiratory rhythms for multiple patients using telemetry equipment.
- Identify and communicate any changes or abnormalities in patient status promptly to the nursing and medical staff.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of monitoring activities and incidents.
- Set up and maintain telemetry equipment to ensure proper functioning and patient safety.
- Assist with routine ECGs and other diagnostic procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to support patient care plans.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional medical training or certification preferred.
- Experience with cardiac monitoring or telemetry technology is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize arrhythmias and other cardiac events.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and monitoring software usage.
- Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced clinical environment.

PAY TRANSPARENCY:
At Mission Community Hospital we offer a competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.
