Worship Director
Mission City Church is seeking a Worship Leader who will cultivate a heart of worship through leading in the areas of music, production and prayer.
Position Report: Lead Pastor
Position Classification: Stipend
Weekly Schedule: Sunday Morning Service (7:30am-12pm), plus a few weekly responsibilties (10 hours total per week).
Responsibilities/Duties
- Build worship, production, and prayer teams to support the weekly worship service
- Seek out, audition, and train individuals to serve/volunteer on the worship team
- Partner with Lead Pastor to plan and execute gospel-centered liturgies for various gatherings within the body
- Schedule worship, production, and prayer teams for weekly service
- Plan and lead worship sets and liturgy for weekly services
- Develop and manage annual plan and budget
- Assist the Lead Pastor with general church duties as assigned; may include counseling, preaching, hosting, and general spiritual oversight of Mission City attendees and guests
- Attend monthly staff meetings on the first Tuesday of each month from 6-8 PM.
Skills/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Prior ministry experience in a leadership role
- Pioneering spirit looking to try and succeed or try and fail forward
- Outstanding communication, organizational, leadership, and team building skills
- Lead Worship from an Instrument (piano or acoustic guitar preferred)
- Direct a Band
- Experience with Planning Center, Google Drive, ProPresenters and MultiTracks preferred

Salary : $800 - $1,200
