We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and customer service, ensuring that every guest receives a delightful experience. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. Hourly pay 14$ but reaches 17$ to 23$ per hour with tips most of the time, or more , EVERY OTHER SATURDAY AND SUNDAY SHIFT IS A MUST
Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards while handling food and beverages.
- Operate cash registers and Square POS systems efficiently, processing transactions accurately.
- Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and address any inquiries or concerns.
- Keep the workspace clean and organized, including regular cleaning of equipment and work areas.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, supplies, and food items.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to fulfill orders promptly while maintaining quality.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or as a Barista is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment is an advantage.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately are required.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to help others in a team-oriented environment is crucial.
