We are seeking a compassionate and skilled individual with expertise in various nursing functions such as patient assessment, medication administration, and adherence to healthcare standards to provide high-quality nursing care to our patients.
Job Overview:
As a Nurse at Mission Behavioral Health, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards. You will work in a dynamic healthcare environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Duties:
- Perform accurate patient assessments and nursing procedures
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain patient health records and ensure documentation accuracy
- Provide patient and family education on disease management, treatment plans, and post-discharge care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license required and BLS certification preferred
- Experience in psychiatric nursing or relevant clinical setting preferred.
- Knowledge of dementia care, pain management, and adherence to healthcare standards
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing patient needs
