Behavior Technician
Job Summary:
Join our team as a Behavioral Health Technician where you will play a crucial role in providing behavioral health support to individuals with psychiatric needs. The ideal candidate will be adept at behavior management, crisis intervention, bedside care while ensuring the well-being of our clients. As a Behavior Technician, you will contribute to enhancing the quality of life for individuals under your care through patient-centered interventions and support.
Duties:
- Implement behavior management strategies to support individuals with psychiatric needs.
- Conduct crisis intervention when necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of clients
- Conduct patient observation checks and complete vital signs as part of the treatment plan
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive behavioral health support
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records related to patient care
- Provide patient care with a focus on empathy, respect, and dignity
Experience:
- Prior experience working with older adults or individuals with psychiatric symptoms is preferred
- Familiarity with behavioral health practices and interventions
- Ability to handle medical documentation accurately and efficiently
- Experience in patient care settings is beneficial
