Job Description

We're looking for (3) Note Department Temps to join our Note Department! The Note Department Temp performs a variety of centralized service duties pertaining to the servicing of commercial loans including, but not limited to: documentation review, loan maintenance, vendor management, payment/wire processing and research, demand management, GL balancing, reporting, loan documentation preparation, coordination and/or review, documentation storage preparation/maintenance, loan funding and any other duty as assigned

Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Process closed loans and collateral releases accordingly
  • Balances GLs daily and monthly
  • Performs daily, weekly, and monthly departmental certifications accurately and timely (payments, advances, wires etc)
  • Maintains all correspondence and requests though miscellaneous department email box
  • Manages daily reporting
  • Reads and understands the Bank's Loan Procedure and Policy Manual
  • Understand and adhere to all compliance regulations as presented in various training meetings
  • Answer phone calls and email inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Uploads and stores loan documentation to applicable software.
  • In-depth, often complex research.
  • Generating established reports and processing activity accordingly.
  • Frequent communication with Business Banking Center personnel and third-party vendors
  • Maintains advanced knowledge and awareness of financial industry status and trends.
  • Reinforces the application of superior customer service through his or her own example along with appropriate follow through with involved customers and employees.
  • Documentation preparation and review.
  • Loan boarding in order management software as well as third party vendors where applicable.
  • Wire preparation.
  • GL Batch preparation and processing.
  • Reads and understands the Bank's General Loan Manual and all loan policies & procedures.
  • Understand and adhere to all compliance regulations as presented in various training meetings.
  • Answer phone calls and email inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Uploads and stores loan documentation to applicable software.
  • In-depth, often complex research.
  • Generating established reports and processing activity accordingly.
  • Frequent communication with Business Banking Center personnel and third-party vendors.
  • Maintains advanced knowledge and awareness of financial industry status and trends.
  • Reinforces the application of superior customer service through his or her own example along with appropriate follow through with involved customers and employees.
  • Operates computer terminal or personal computer to obtain and process data.

Required Experience

Minimum Requirements:

  • Background in banking and/or lending is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and word
  • Detail-oriented with a proven ability to learn new skills and systems rapidly.
  • Must have the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a high-pressure environment.
  • Possess strong written/verbal communication skills as well as excellent organizational/time management skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while performing duties.

Target compensation: $25 per hour, depending on experience.
