Director of Rehabilitation

Mission Arch Center located in the Roswell, NM area is seeking a dedicated and experienced treating Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to manage all aspects of the in-house therapy team.

Candidates with a background as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist, Physical Therapist Assistant, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant are strongly encouraged to apply.

This skilled nursing facility is an oasis, providing top-tier short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and respite care services. One of the unique offerings that sets Mission Arch Center apart is the short term care program. This service is designed for individuals who need concentrated rehabilitation before returning home. It allows patients to recover in a comfortable, home-like setting while still receiving the therapeutic attention they need.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the rehab department across all therapy disciplines
• Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care delivery
• Manage and mentor therapy staff to support clinical excellence and team development
• Coordinate treatment schedules and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with facility leadership and interdisciplinary team to support overall goals
• Monitor productivity and maintain accurate documentation

Qualifications:

• Licensed as a PT, OT, SLP, PTA or COTA in the State of New Mexico (required)
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care (LTC) setting
• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Commitment to quality care and compliance
