Mission Ace Hardware has a cashier position open in our Glendora store. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals that love helping people, have a great attitude, and would like to learn and grow in our stores. Position Summary: The cashier's primary responsibility is to demonstrate the foundation of our service to each customer as they enter and leave the store.
You must have an enthusiastic, positive and supportive attitude.
The major responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:
Ensure each customer receives outstanding service.
Greet customers as they enter the store.
Give 100% attention to the customer you are serving and always thank each customer for their business.
Answer phone calls with proper greeting.
Tactfully, professionally and pleasantly deal with customers.
Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements.
Accurately and efficiently ring on registers (Point of Sale Terminals) and maintain all cash at registers.
Must scan every item at the point of sale 100% of the time no exceptions.
Issuing receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers by following policy and procedures.
Perform other tasks as assigned from time to time by store management and support the management team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
