This position is part of the Department of Defense (DoD), Missile Defense Agency (MDA). The incumbent will be responsible for:
Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Senior Program Analyst supporting the Directorate for Acquisition (DA).
A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-03/GS-13 grade level in the Federal service as listed below and must meet 3 of 5 specialized experiences listed below to be qualified:
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Qualifications:
You may qualify at the NH -04 Broadband Level, if you fulfill the following qualifications:A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-03/GS-13 grade level in the Federal service as listed below and must meet 3 of 5 specialized experiences listed below to be qualified:
- Providing knowledge and insight in support of Strategic Planning for a major program office.
- Developing, evaluating, and assessing strategic planning policies and processes.
- Providing support to Mid and Senior Acquisition Analysts to include Foreign Military Sales (FMS).
- Providing assistance with the management of daily execution of technical, schedule, and cost requirements, monitor and manage cradle-to-grave acquisition programs including scope, schedule of work, cost, payment schedules, financial services, etc.
- Liaising with key community personnel to ensure effective and responsive execution.

Responsibilities:
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Acq Demo Business and Technical Management to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.As a Program Manager at the NH-0340-4 broadband level, some of your typical work assignments may include:
- Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Senior Program Analyst supporting the Directorate for Acquisition (DA).
- Providing leadership input and support on all matters related to acquisition of program capabilities across the Missile Defense System (MDS) applying MDA directives, procedures, guides, etc. such as those referenced in the Comprehensive Acquisition Process (CAP).
- Utilize Senior Program expertise, managerial and technical skills to assist with the development and implementation of successful MDS program planning, budget development, risk management, integrated logistics, acquisition and operational policies, plans and assessments.
- Serves as an expert planner, analyst, and advisor to agency management on program analysis, annual/multi-year and long-range acquisition program planning for key agency programs.
- Provide comparison of actual program developments against approved plans and baselines to identify potential and actual problems.
