Position Summary:
Maintains the cleanliness of assigned areas by following a daily/weekly schedule of duties. Supports the work of the Facilities departments, other personnel and contractors to ensure high quality and efficient cleaning and service support to campus.
Essential Functions:
- Clean and disinfect all assigned areas to maintain a high level of sanitation and cleanliness. Includes bathrooms, showers, kitchen areas, laundry rooms, common rooms, offices, corridors and other areas within campus buildings.
- Remove trash and other debris from receptacles.
- Check and refill soap, paper towels and toilet tissue dispensers.
- Sweep and damp mop floors.
- Wipe down vertical surfaces.
- Dust horizontal surfaces.
- Vacuum surfaces.
- Restock supplies in closets and storage areas.
- Assist other employees when needed.
- Monitor and report any problems, repairs or supply needs to the supervisor.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.44 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
