Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and support each child's individual needs.
- Provide care for infants and toddlers as needed, ensuring their health and safety at all times.
- Engage in behavior management strategies to support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with infant-aged children in a daycare or educational setting is essential.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR preferred; willingness to obtain if not currently certified.
- Experience in special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create engaging learning experiences.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members.
