Job Overview
We are seeking a fun and exciting Acro Dance Teacher for our 26-27 season! 2 classes on Fridays 4:00-6:00 students ages K-3rd grade. Classes run Oct-May and conclude with a performance in our annual spring recital. Your enthusiasm for movement, creativity, and education will help students build confidence, strength, and artistry while ensuring a safe and inclusive classroom experience. For interested parties, some administrative work is available as well (ordering and organizing costumes, creating performance programs, backstage crew worksheets and more)
Skills
- Strong background in acro dance techniques
- Proven experience in teaching dance or movement classes with children or adults in classroom settings
- Excellent classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment
- Ability to develop creative lesson plans that engage diverse learners through choreography and movement exercises
