What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Preschool Teacher / Counselor for Summer Program position at Miss Barbara's Preschool?
Well established preschool seeking a highly motivated Assistant Teacher who loves working with children for our upcoming summer session.
Part Time
- Days: Tues/Wed/Thurs
- Hours: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Dates: June 30th – August 6th
Responsibilities
- Support lead teacher in daily activities
- Set up daily activities before children arrive
- Assist children with daily crafts
- Keep children active and engaged by facilitating a variety of developmentally appropriate activities
- Provide constant supervision of children
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized outdoor play area/classroom/lunch area
- Provide constant supervision and ensure a positive atmosphere
Requirements
- Experience working with children in preschool, daycare or camp setting
- CPR, First Aide Certified
- Educational backround preferred
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Preschool/Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
