Retail Co-Manager - Virginia Beach, VA

MISS A is growing fast, and we're looking for a dependable, hands-on Co-Manager to help lead our store at Lynnhaven Mall in Virginia Beach, VA. As Co-Manager, you'll be the Store Manager's right hand — leading the floor, coaching the team, executing floor sets, managing labor and inventory, and keeping store standards high whether or not the Store Manager is on site. We're easy to reach from Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, and across Hampton Roads.

What You'll Do

• Partner with the Store Manager to lead the store and hold the team accountable to standards.
• Lead the floor and ensure policies are followed when the Store Manager is not present.
• Coach, support, and develop store associates day to day.
• Build schedules and manage labor % — knowing when to schedule high and when to schedule light.
• Execute planograms, visual merchandising, and floor sets.
• Track and drive retail KPIs and sales performance.
• Keep the sales floor full, recovered, clean, and accurately presented; keep the warehouse organized with shipments processed on time.
• Submit nightly closing videos of the sales floor and the weekly Sunday warehouse video via Basecamp.
• Be reachable by phone when you're not in the store, and cover extended or additional shifts when needed.

What You'll Bring

• Prior retail leadership experience with a track record of consistency and tenure.
• Ability to lead without ego and partner effectively with a Store Manager.
• Working knowledge of labor % and financial/sales responsibility.
• Experience with scheduling, planograms, visual merchandising, and floor sets.
• Familiarity with retail KPIs and using them to drive performance.
• Strong coaching, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Dependability — comfortable covering shifts and staying reachable.
• Comfort with technology/tools (Basecamp, closing videos).

What We Offer

• Pay: $44,000–$48,000 per year (based on experience).
• Benefits eligible after 60 days: Medical, Dental, Vision, and FSA accounts.
• Paid Time Off (PTO) — 5 PTO days and 5 UPTO days per year, prorated by hire date.
