Medical Assistant – Phototherapy Technician

Mismo Dermatology Group is seeking dedicated Medical Assistants to join our growing team of dermatology professionals. We are a multi-provider, fast-paced, full-service dermatology practice serving San Diego and the surrounding communities.
Position Overview
This role focuses on providing phototherapy treatments to patients in various local care facilities. As a Phototherapy Technician, you will travel between assigned locations and deliver efficient, high-quality care to patients undergoing treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer phototherapy treatments to patients in accordance with established protocols (we will train you)
- Travel to multiple facilities throughout the day (including, but not limited to, El Cajon, La Mesa, and San Diego) gas mileage is reimbursed between facilities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and patient interactions
- Deliver compassionate, professional care in a fast-paced environment
Productivity Expectations
Technicians are expected to treat approximately 30 patients per day, with each visit lasting 2–3 minutes. Daily patient volume is aligned with scheduled hours (e.g., 30 patients = 8-hour shift; 25–29 patients = 7-hour shift).
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant experience preferred
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and travel between multiple locations
- Reliable transportation is required

Location Requirement
