Fragrance Sales Associate

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and engage with them to understand their fragrance preferences and needs

• Conduct engaging product demonstrations and scent samplings to educate customers about our offerings

• Assist guests in selecting perfumes that suit their style and personality, providing personalized recommendations

• Upsell complementary products such as clothing, makeup, or accessories to enhance the customer’s purchase experience

• Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card processing using retail software systems like Millennium or similar platforms

• Maintain a well-organized and visually appealing merchandising display that highlights new arrivals and promotional items

• Stock shelves, replenish product displays, and ensure all fragrance bottles are properly labeled and organized

• Conduct product demos and educate customers on fragrance notes, application techniques, and care tips

• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering personalized advice, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere at the front desk or checkout area

• Handle phone inquiries professionally with proper phone etiquette, assisting customers remotely when needed

• Keep track of inventory levels using retail math skills to assist with stock ordering or replenishment needs

• Support overall store operations by organizing stockroom areas and assisting with merchandising initiatives

Skills

• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clientele

• Proficiency with retail software systems such as Millennium or similar POS platforms

• Experience with cosmetology or beauty & cosmetics sales is highly desirable

• Knowledge of makeup application techniques can enhance customer consultations

• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and retail transactions

• Excellent organizational skills for stocking, merchandising, and maintaining store presentation standards

• Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Multilingual capabilities to connect with a broader customer base are advantageous

• Experience with social media management can help promote products and store events effectively

• Familiarity with salon software or other retail management tools is beneficial but not required

• Demonstrated ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining genuine customer relationships

• Strong front desk presence with professional phone etiquette and customer service orientation
