Position Summary:
Performs a variety of duties to support Outpatient and Outreach staff in meeting the needs of non-English speaking families enrolled in a program through translation. This position will also be responsible for providing clerical administrative work as requested by the Clinical Support Staff Supervisor and or the Director of Children, Youth and Families.
Qualifications:Essential Job Duties/Core Position Competencies:
Accompanies CYF staff who are providing community-based services to clients and families by facilitating communication between staff and those being served. Serves as a liaison between CYF staff and clients by scheduling office, community and home visits, making reminder calls and facilitating other ongoing communication needs. Provides back-up clerical and administrative support, including; answering/directing telephone calls, filing, copying, faxing, and greeting/directing visitors. Maintains flexibility in days and hours available for scheduled work, including evenings and weekends, per the request of the Clinical Support Staff Supervisor and or Director of Children, Youth and Families.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Bilingual Spanish/English translator
- Previous experience working with Latino families
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and have access to a private vehicle for day-to-day job performance, if required
