Role Overview
The Social Media Content Manager plays a key role in developing and executing strategic brand content. This role is responsible for creating visually compelling content and maintaining consistent brand positioning across social media platforms, brand websites, and integrated marketing campaigns.
Working closely with the Marketing Manager, this individual will concept, produce, and optimize high-quality media assets that drive brand awareness, audience engagement, and overall brand growth.
Key Responsibilities
Visual Content Strategy & Creative Development
- Create compelling, innovative visual content that enhances brand recognition and audience engagement.
- Ensure all visual assets consistently reflect each brand’s tone, voice, and positioning.
- Lead the creation of multimedia assets, including lifestyle imagery, product-focused video content, photography, and motion graphics.
- Develop storyboards and present creative concepts aligned with brand strategy and campaign objectives.
- Collaborate with videographers, photographers, designers, and marketing team to produce high-impact, on-brand content.
- Serve as an on-camera spokesperson when needed, delivering an engaging and authentic brand presence.
- Monitor automotive enthusiast forums and online communities, engaging with users to strengthen brand presence and credibility.
Content Planning & Execution
- Collaborate with Marketing Manager to align content themes with business objectives, campaign goals, and target audience preferences.
- Oversee the planning and execution of video and photo shoots, partnering with Content Creators and the Brand Video Producer to capture high-quality, on-brand assets.
- Work cross-functionally with teams including product development, marketing, and on-site at events to ensure visual content supports key initiatives and deliverables.
- Identify and leverage emerging visual trends to keep brand content fresh, relevant, and competitive.
Short-Form Videography & Production
- Execute high-quality short-form video and photography projects, including vehicle features, lifestyle content, and installed product imagery for marketing materials, events, and digital channels.
- Oversee post-production processes, including editing, color correction, and formatting for platform-specific requirements.
- Train and support internal teams on best practices for capturing content that aligns with brand standards.
- Manage studio equipment and recommend upgrades to enhance content production capabilities.
- Assist in creative direction for in-house and on-location shoots to ensure content effectively supports marketing campaigns.
Your Creds:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Multimedia, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in social media content creation, videography, photography, or a related field.
- Proven experience in visual storytelling and branding for consumer products, preferably in the automotive or lifestyle industries.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, etc.).
- Experience creating short-form video content optimized for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Strong understanding of social media trends, platform best practices, and audience engagement strategies.
- Hands-on experience working with creative teams to produce high-quality visual assets across multiple platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for automotive culture and familiarity with enthusiast communities is strongly preferred.
