🗓️ 2026–27 Inaugural Season

The Mishawaka Valor are seeking a Head Basketball Coach to lead our men’s professional basketball program as we enter our inaugural ABA season (2026–27). This individual will be responsible for building a competitive team culture, developing players, and representing the organization with professionalism on and off the court.

This role is ideal for a motivated coach looking to grow within the professional basketball ranks and make a lasting impact in a new franchise.

• Lead all on-court coaching operations, including practices, games, and team strategy
• Develop and implement offensive and defensive systems
• Evaluate, recruit, and help select players in collaboration with the front office
• Manage assistant coaches and support staff
• Conduct structured practices focused on player development, discipline, and accountability
• Prepare game plans, scouting reports, and adjustments
• Maintain team culture aligned with the Mishawaka Valor’s values and standards
• Communicate effectively with players, staff, and front office leadership
• Represent the organization professionally at games, community events, and media engagements
• Ensure compliance with ABA league rules and team policies

• Prior coaching experience (college, semi-pro, professional, or high-level high school preferred)
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of modern basketball systems and player development principles
• Ability to motivate and manage diverse personalities
• Recruiting and talent evaluation experience
• Willingness to commit time throughout the season, including travel and weekends
