Subcontractor/Laborer

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Subcontractor/Laborer to join our construction team. This role involves supporting various phases of construction projects, utilizing a broad range of skills including electrical, carpentry, masonry, and plumbing. The ideal candidate will have experience working on residential homes and possess a strong work ethic, safety awareness, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to diverse projects such as remodeling, restoration, new builds, and specialized installations.

Duties

• Assist with construction tasks including framing, drywall installation, roofing, flooring, tile laying, and concrete finishing.
• Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for various construction activities.
• Support plumbing, electrical work, caulking, plastering, stucco application, and glass or cabinet installation as needed.
• Handle fabrication tasks such as concrete forming or custom carpentry projects like trim carpentry and door hanging.
• Operate heavy equipment in accordance with safety protocols for site preparation and material handling.
• Assist with masonry work including bricklaying and stonework; perform demolition or restoration tasks when required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work site to promote safety and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion of project milestones.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction site work with knowledge of various trades such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, or concrete finishing.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment safely.
• Experience with construction estimating and inspection is a plus but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, or restoration techniques is desirable.
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or collaboratively within a team environment.
• Valid driver’s license preferred for site travel; reliable transportation required.
• Commitment to safety protocols and OSHA standards on all job sites. This position is integral to our ongoing projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
