We’re looking for an Assistant Operations Manager – Field Agent to join our Nashville team. This hybrid role blends hands-on fieldwork with technology troubleshooting and property quality management.
You’ll be the go-to person for:
- Conducting detailed property and onboarding inspections
- Performing minor repairs and touch-ups when issues are found
- Installing and troubleshooting smart home tech (locks, Wi-Fi systems, thermostats, cameras)
- Assisting with minor cleaning and staging when needed
- Reporting maintenance issues and coordinating vendor support
- Supporting the operations manager in implementing new systems and improving workflows
This is a dynamic, fast-paced position suited for someone who’s tech-savvy, handy, and enjoys problem-solving on the move.
- Complete thorough inspections and create clear digital reports
- Install and sync smart locks and related devices with our property management systems
- Troubleshoot Wi-Fi connectivity and guest-tech issues
- Handle light maintenance tasks: paint touch-ups, fixture replacements, minor repairs
- Collaborate with cleaners, maintenance teams, and vendors
- Ensure every home meets Misfit’s high design and functionality standards
- Represent the Misfit Homes brand with professionalism and care
- Strong tech troubleshooting skills (Wi-Fi, smart locks, devices)
- Experience in property management, hospitality, or STRs
- Familiarity with smart home systems (Yale, Schlage, Nest, etc.)
- Basic handyman or maintenance abilities
- Excellent organization and time management
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Proactive, dependable, and solutions-oriented
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred:
- Leadership or coordination experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or related field
