Material Handler/Yard Laborer

Steel Shipping & Receiving | Heavy Labor | Outdoor Work | Full-Time

Miscellaneous Metals is seeking a dependable, hardworking Material Handler/Yard Laborer to support our shipping and receiving operations. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role working both indoors and outdoors, moving and organizing steel materials for delivery to job sites.

What You’ll Do

• Load and unload trucks with steel materials using proper equipment and safe handling practices
• Pull and stage materials for delivery
• Organize yard and shop materials
• Assist with receiving and placing incoming shipments
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Able to perform physical labor (lift up to 80 lbs)
• Consistent attendance and punctuality: must reliably report to work on time for a 6:30 AM start
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Team player who follows directions and stays productive throughout the shift
• Forklift experience is a plus (training available)
• Previous warehouse, construction, or labor experience preferred
  
  

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Overtime may be available

Pay & Benefits

• $18–$24/hour, depending on experience

Additional Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship
