Territory Sales Representative
Are you a driven sales hunter or a barista with a passion for great coffee?
We’re a fast-growing, family-owned premium coffee distributor supplying independent cafés, restaurants, hotels, offices, and specialty retailers across NJ and NY metro area. As we continue our aggressive expansion, we’re looking for an exceptional Territory Sales Representative for NJ and Staten Island.
What You’ll Do:
- Prospect, cold-call, and closing new business with independent cafés, restaurants, hotels and boutique hospitality accounts
- Grow existing accounts by introducing new blends, equipment solutions, and private-label programs
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with owners, chefs, and barista teams
- Conduct tastings, cuppings, and training sessions that turn customers into raving fans
- Hit and exceed monthly and quarterly new-business and revenue targets
- Manage the full sales cycle: lead gen → demo → proposal → close → ongoing account growth
- Collaborate with our roastery and service teams to deliver an unbeatable customer experience
What You Bring:
· 1-2 years of outside B2B sales success preferred (food/beverage, specialty food, or hospitality strongly preferred). That said, exceptional baristas or café managers with extensive specialty-coffee experience and a natural talent for building relationships are absolutely encouraged to apply.
- Documented history of hitting or exceeding quota
- A genuine love for specialty coffee and the café culture (barista experience is a big plus)
- Fearless cold-calling and door-to-door prospecting skills
- Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and closing abilities
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working remotely in your territory
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Italian language skills (conversational or better) a definite advantage
- Experience with MS Office and basic computer knowledge
