The Opportunity
We’re seeking an exceptionally well-organized Event Manager to join our growing team. The position will help produce our annual virtual and live conferences and webinars.
Dynamic Training & Events
Mirren is a small Seattle-based firm that specializes in training marketing agencies in advertising, digital, experiential, and PR. We help them accelerate their business growth. Our clients are dynamic, innovative, and creative – producing some of the most iconic marketing campaigns in the world.
In addition to custom training programs, each year, we also produce 50 live webinars, and one of the most prominent conferences in the agency industry – Mirren Live New York. The event sells out every year, as our attendees take in 70 speakers in 35 sessions over 2 jam-packed days. New York, Miami, Chicago, and LA have been key destinations for our different events.

Your Role: Lead the Way!
The ideal candidate will bring event production experience, exceptional organizational skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to take charge. While working closely with, and reporting to our event lead, expect to help drive all aspects of event production. This will include the management of speakers, registration/attendees, sponsors, event logistics, outsourced event production, and more. We can tailor and focus the role to your strengths.
During off-peak periods, the role will also provide some support with the production of our training programs.
Please note: although we are all working remotely right now, the role will ultimately be flexible. Throughout the week, there will be a mix of time from working from home and in our (Ballard) Seattle office. Please do not apply if this commute into a Ballard office would be an issue for you.
Our Ideal Candidate
- At least 5- 6 years of event production experience (conferences, business events, tradeshows preferred)
- Tackles projects with a proactive and assertive “on it” attitude
- Experience managing Speakers, Sponsors, Venues and Attendees preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and highly organized – no task left undone
- A sense of resourcefulness in finding creative solutions to the common challenges of event production
- Strong written communication skills
- Skilled in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google Docs
- Fully embraces project management software to manage projects and tasks
- Experience with Zoom, Cvent, WordPress is an asset

About our office: We have a dog-friendly ground floor creative space with plenty of fresh air and outdoor yard space. There are only 2-3 people in the office at any one time. All are double vaccinated.
