The Role
As a Service & Warranty Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing post-construction service and warranty matters, ensuring our customers continue to receive a high standard of support long after they have received the keys to their new home.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Conducting new home service and warranty inspections
- Identifying, assessing and resolving building defects and maintenance issues
- Preparing detailed inspection reports and service requests
- Coordinating trades, suppliers and contractors to complete rectification works
- Providing technical advice and guidance to customers throughout the warranty process
- Building strong relationships with homeowners and delivering exceptional customer service
- Working closely with Service & Warranty Administrators, Technicians and internal stakeholders
- Managing warranty outcomes in line with company standards, VBA requirements and industry best practice
- Ensuring service requests are resolved efficiently and within agreed timeframes
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation throughout the warranty process
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Previous experience within a Service & Warranty, Maintenance or Construction role in the residential building industry
- Strong understanding of residential construction methods and defect diagnosis
- Sound knowledge of VBA requirements, building regulations and industry standards
- Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to manage customer expectations and navigate challenging situations professionally
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a team environment
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Certificate IV in Building and Construction
- Trade qualification within the construction industry
- Experience working within a volume home building environment
