Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality results that meet both the client’s and our expectations. Your expertise will contribute to transforming spaces through skilled surface preparation, precise application techniques, and a keen eye for detail. Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, caulking, plastering, and applying primer to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality
- Execute interior and exterior painting using brushes, rollers, paint sprayers (including airless spray systems), and conventional spray equipment
- Perform structural painting tasks on walls, ceilings, trim carpentry, fixtures, stucco, masonry, and other building components
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for surface preparation and finishing work
- Apply coatings with precision while adhering to safety regulations; use respiratory protection equipment as required during spray painting operations
- Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling waste materials and ensuring all safety protocols are followed throughout the project lifecycle
- Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn the trade
Experience
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including airless systems), brushes, rollers, and surface finishing equipment
- Additional skills such as welding, carpentry (including trim or frame carpentry), concrete finishing or maintenance work will be considered advantageous
