Mirian Solutions is a contract manufacturer for a number of customers in a diverse range of industries. Cable and Harness Assembly Technicians produce cable and harness assemblies for the electromechanical industry by following clear work instructions and while meeting IPC assembly standards and ISO9001 quality standards.
Job Summary
- Performs measuring, stripping, crimping and soldering of wire or cable and final assembly of harness components according to prints, assembly instructions and product specifications in standard and metric units, using hand tools, precision instruments and test equipment as required.
- Reads prints, schematics, assembly instructions, and job routers as appropriate to determine the methods and sequence of assembly operations.
- Examines component parts and subassemblies and verifies conformance to documentation.
- Performs testing and labeling per customer specifications.
- Complies with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) procedures while handling ESD sensitive devices.
- Maintains a clean, neat and orderly work area ensuring that soldering irons and tools are maintained and components and products are safely stored and organized.
- Completes tasks and or assignments as required by management .
- Committed to the quality and adequacy of work contributions.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge/Skills
- Knowledge of harness assembly, the required equipment and the associated applications and processes.
- Ability to produce wire and cable connections meeting appropriate IPC standards.
- Compliance with ESD protection for the safe handling of products and components.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings and associated documents.
- Knowledge of IPC workmanship standards including IPC/WHMA-A-620.
- Courteous and professional demeaner and orientation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to multi-task, handle interruptions, and reprioritize tasks in order to meet ongoing deadlines throughout the day.
- Demonstrated record of good work attendance and reliability.
Education and or Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
