Overview
MIRIAN AI is building an agentic operating system for finance and operations teams at US mid-market and enterprise companies — automating the manual close, reporting, and forecasting work that still grinds most finance teams down. We're early, moving fast, and building something new.
We're looking for a Founder's Office Associate to work directly with the founder. This is a high-ownership role for someone early in their career who wants a front-row seat to company-building. It's a real blend: some days you're using AI to pull together research and analysis for a big decision, other days you're running the calendar, prepping meetings, and making sure nothing slips. If you're hungry, organized, and genuinely fluent with AI, you'll learn more here in a year than most people do in five. Most things we can teach — but you have to already think and build with AI.
What you'll do
- Work side-by-side with the founder on priorities across the business
- Use AI tools to research, analyze, and move faster on everything
- Build and automate workflows that make the whole company more efficient
- Keep operations running — scheduling, follow-ups, project tracking, and the day-to-day
- Draft emails, documents, and decks
- Own small projects end-to-end and chase down whatever needs chasing
What we're looking for
- You live in AI. You already use tools like ChatGPT and Claude daily, and you've built or automated things with them — agents, workflows, scripts, custom GPTs, whatever. This is the one thing we can't teach; everything else we can.
- Recent grad or 1–4 years of experience — drive matters more than your résumé
- Smart, curious, and a fast learner
- Genuinely organized and reliable — you follow through
- Strong writing and comfort with numbers
- Hungry, low-ego, and ready to take on anything
- Based in or near the NJ/NY area
