Miriam Skydell and Associates, LLC is a pediatric therapy agency with over 25 years of experience providing Occupational, Speech, and Physical Therapists to school districts. We are a small, private agency that values our therapists’ time. Therapists are paid for all contracted hours including students’ absences, documentation and travel time. - Start Date: ASAP through June 2026
- Days: 5 days a week
- Treatment Hours: 7:45 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.
- Rate: $85.00 per hour
Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Provide consultation and professional development to general education teachers on best practices for supporting students with speech and language needs within their classrooms.
- Conduct speech and language assessments with students and present results at Team meetings.
- Develop IEP goals and track progress towards those goals.
Wanaque, NJ, see the details below:
- Start Date: May 1st through June 12, 2026
- Schedule: 5 days a week, 6 hours a day
- School Hours: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Rate: $85.00 per hour
The position will continue through ESY and the 2026-2027 School year
- ESY schedule: Starting June 29th through July 30th Mondays-Thursdays / 8:30-12:30 PM.
- 26-27 School Year schedule: Starting September 8th through October 20th, 5 days a week, 6 hours a day
Student Details:
Caseload is about 25 students ages 3-8, but primarily preschoolers and this also includes our self-contained population. (Multiple disabled, Autism, Preschool disabled)
