- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, offices, hallways, and common areas by sanitizing fixtures, surfaces, and trash removal.
- Conduct detailed floor care routines such as stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing to preserve flooring quality.
- Handle custodial tasks including dusting, window cleaning, vacuuming, and disinfecting high-touch areas regularly.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks like minor repairs or reporting issues requiring specialized attention.
- Support industrial or commercial cleaning projects by using appropriate equipment and cleaning agents for large-scale spaces.
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a hazard-free environment for yourself and others.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning techniques.
- Strong understanding of floor care procedures including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, steam cleaners, and pressure washers safely and effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy objects, and performing repetitive tasks throughout shifts.
