Job Title: Inventory Stow Associate

Position Overview:
The Inventory Stow Associate will be responsible for the movement and organization of guitar inventory throughout our warehouse. This includes physically moving guitars after receipt to their stow location. The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to track inventory both physically and digitally using our warehouse management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Physical Handling & Movement of Inventory:
- Safely and efficiently transport guitars after receipt to their stow location.
- Ensure guitars are handled with care and placed in the correct location to be picked for production and sent to our workshop.
- Assist in organizing the warehouse layout, ensuring guitars are easily accessible and categorized for quick retrieval.
- Digital Tracking & Data Entry:
- Use our warehouse management system to digitally track the movement of each guitar as it progresses through the various departments (shop, quality control, photo queue, saleable location).
- Ensure that all inventory movements are logged accurately and in real-time.
- Update inventory records in the ERP system to reflect the current status and location of guitars.
- Inventory Accuracy:
- Regularly check inventory for accuracy, verifying that guitars are in their correct locations and tracking systems are up-to-date.
- Report any discrepancies or missing items for immediate resolution.
- Ensure guitars are stored in optimal conditions to prevent damage while in the warehouse.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Assist with special projects, including new inventory intake, seasonal inventory audits, or restructuring of warehouse layout as needed.
- Communicate any issues with inventory movement or location to relevant team members in a timely manner.
- General Warehouse Support:
- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized warehouse, ensuring that guitars are stowed safely and efficiently.
- Participate in regular inventory audits and assist with stock checks or cycle counts when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Prior experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or logistics is preferred.
- Experience with guitars or musical instruments is beneficial but not required.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle inventory with care and maintain proper storage conditions.
- Proficient in basic computer skills, including Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP or WMS systems is a plus.
- Ability to lift guitars and other items (up to 50 lbs.) and work in a fast-paced, physical environment.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
